another new layout, yet. i know; i've been having this addiction to photoshop lately. what's more, im starting to discipline myself into exploring the ever exclusive features in Photoshop Elements 4.0. all this photoshop addiction makes me think; don't polytechnics have this kind of course for some geeks like me? i'll be glad, more than everything.
i had a bad day yesterday, all thanks to the sorethroat. but thank god i could sleep peacefully, without waking up every single hour and to whine over my sorethroat. and yes, amazingly it was just a sorethroat, no package included; that is flu, fever and headaches. phew!
today, im the good little mom's daughter. i stayed home just to take care of my lil sis, who is by the way, 15year old. sofreakingbig still need to take care mah? oh definitely a big yes. you see, apparently, my lil sis is afraid of every single thing when she's left all alone in the house. i recalled the incident on last wednesday where she ranged me up more than four times just to be sure i'll be back in no time. the fourth call rounded up everything, when she told me that a salesman refused to stop pressing the doorbell and kept repeatedly knocked on the door (hard!!) and also covered the eyehole with an Indonesian cloth that dad hang on the side of the door that's facing outside just for mere decoration. silly old salesman! don't you have any better things to do that irritate the owner of the house? poor lil sis had to lean her back at the door, quietly like a burglar locked the door from inside and mute the television.
i panicked when she told me that over the phone, obviously. you know, salesmen nowadays cannot be trusted. who knows they have other intentions of going from door to door, especially when it's the last few doors they have to knock. plus the weird face they put on, and those wandering eyes when they tried to persuade you into buying their products. too scary.
from young, mom made a point to me - not to open the door to anyone i don't recognise. even if im married, i will not open the door to any salesman, and i will make that point to my hubby too.
the first page of today's Berita Harian (malay newspaper) caught my attention. read this - a 24yr old Temasek Polytechnic student died in a motor accident. that makes the third death case involving bikes just alone in this week. i was left speechless when i read the article. different things were running in my mind, wildly. to note, he rode a Scrambler and on the way to meet his friends.
if we were to ask the government to do something about all this bike accident that is increasing rapidly, what else can the government do except give warnings and implant fines to those who speed on road? preetyboy has been on road for more than six months and i have been on road for three months. funny how we have the same enemy on road - taxi drivers. take your time now and see how taxi drivers drive. i might hurt some of my readers' feelings if i were to diss taxi drivers even more; so people who have been on road, probably you know what i meant.
on a brighter note, bummers get your butt working cause from tomorrow onwards, no more holidays for you people, boohoo!
my lil sister is sooo irritating! 3hours ago, i baked pancakes for her, and now she's bugging me to cook Koka's Tom Yam for her. grr!
That's It For Today. Goodbye.
